Our teen ministry is growing and active, providing more than just age-appropriate Bible study classes on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. We offer a variety of exciting activities throughout the year for all teens in our congregation, designed to foster both spiritual growth and meaningful relationships with God and each other.

We don’t just aim to entertain—our goal is to help teens build a strong foundation of faith. Whether it's a fun social event or a spiritually enriching experience, each activity is thoughtfully designed to encourage personal growth in the Lord.

Sandwich and devo

Every third Sunday night, our teens gather after evening worship for Sandwich and Devo—a relaxed time to enjoy food, dive into topics relevant to their lives, and engage in meaningful discussion. It’s a great way for youth to connect and grow together.

Youth Rally

Each year in August, OCOC hosts an exciting Youth Rally! This full-day event brings teens together for powerful worship, games, and an inspiring message from a guest speaker. It’s a day of fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth, and it’s the perfect opportunity for teens to invite their friends to join in!

Youth Camp

Skyline Christian Youth Camp (SCYC) takes place the first week of June. Directed by Kevin Smith, Associate Minister at the Gadsden Church of Christ, SCYC offers a mix of fun activities and spiritual enrichment with a long-standing tradition of excellence.

Sardis Lake Christian Camp (SLCC), located in northeast Mississippi, has been a place of transformation for young people since 1967. Bob Swain, our preacher, directs the third session of camp in June. Many of our teens attend and return each year with new friendships and deeper connections to their faith.
