At Oneonta Church of Christ, we know that children are a special part of God’s kingdom. That’s why we’re dedicated to helping your child grow in faith from an early age. Our Bible classes, offered on Sundays and Wednesdays, provide a safe, loving environment where children can build a strong foundation for lifelong faith.

Caring and trained adults are ready to welcome your child into a warm, nurturing space filled with fun and learning. We offer classes for children of all ages, from birth through youth. You’re always welcome to stay with your child until they feel at home in their class. Our friendly teachers are excited to meet your little one! A greeter at the front door will gladly help you find the perfect class and introduce you to the teacher.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Some basic information that can help you better plan ahead.

  • What age groups are included in the Kids Ministry?

    Our Kids Ministry offers Bible classes for all children, from birth through youth. We have age-appropriate classes designed to meet your child where they are, providing a fun and nurturing environment to help them grow in their faith.

  • Can I stay with my child during their class?

    Absolutely! We want both you and your child to feel comfortable. You’re welcome to stay with your child until they are ready to participate on their own. Our teachers are friendly and will help ease the transition when your child is ready.

  • Is childcare available during the worship service?

    Yes! We offer nursery care for babies (birth to nine months) and a toddler room for older preschoolers. Both areas have closed-circuit TV, so you can still follow the worship service. Communion is also provided for parents in these rooms during the service.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Our annual Vacation Bible School is a long-standing tradition at Oneonta Church of Christ. Every year, we offer an exciting, Bible-based VBS as part of our community outreach, and we would love for your child to be a part of it! This year, our VBS will be held during the first full week of June in the early evening hours. We can’t wait to welcome your family!
